Please note that these socks have several small, elastic threads woven into the top section to hold them up around the ankle. Grödo inc. these elastic threads to secure them around the ankle, to prevent them from slipping off the babies foot. The elastic threads have minimal, if any, contact with the skin. The yarn itself is made from 100% organic material.
Grödo is a family business that has existed since 1923. They have been manufacturing socks and tights for babies, children and adults from natural organic fibers for more than 30 years. Their cotton yarn is kba, GOTS certified, the yarn is dyed in Germany according to GOTS guidelines. Non toxines and pesticide free.
